This actually isn't my first time to the blogging world, either. Through my time in 7th and 8th grade I LOVED to blog. After approximately one year of silly blog entries I had one consistent reader; she was my best friend. As time went on I asked her to be a co-writer; I didn't think about how that decision would make two writers and no readers. Haha, oh well... It was still a lot of fun and I look back on the time with the fondest of memories. Unfortunately, however, I soon became discouraged with our lack of readers and gave it up. I promised myself that I would never ever open my blogger account again.
Evidently, I didn't do so well at keeping that promise...
So why did I start up again? I don't think I'll ever be a blogger with ground-breaking and unique posts and I'll probably never be one of those bloggers who gets 500 new readers a week--I just don't see that happening-- however over the years I've come to the conclusion that blogging isn't about the number of hits you get, or if you have 596 pinterest followers. Blogging is about YOU and all that you are! It's sharing with the world your life, your story-- not because you expect a ton of followers, but because it gives you joy.
And yet it's still more than that for me.

So welcome to this tiny little part of the internet. It may be flawed and it may be excessively dull at times, but I hope it will help you come to a greater a knowledge of the most perfect thing in the universe-- God's infinite love for EVERYONE and his love for you! He knows you and loves you more than you can ever comprehend. He cared so much for you that he sent his son to come and suffer all the pains that this fallen world has to offer. His love is so great that he was willing to sit there and watch as his son was whipped, mocked, and killed so that YOU could have eternal life. Can you hear the crack of the whip as it came down harshly on his back? Can you hear the sound of the hammer hitting the cruel nails as they pierced his hands and feet? Did you know that he had to hang on the cross and have the spirit of the holy ghost leave him just before he died? He suffered in agony and he was all alone.
And he suffered it all for you.
It sounds unbelievable that someone should care enough to do such a thing, but I know that he did.
It's all real.
My favorite testimony of the Savior is given by the prophet Joseph Smith in D&C 76:22-24.It reads,
22 And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives!
Source: LDS Media Library-The First Vision 23 For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father—24 That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.
Isn't that amazing? Notice how the prophet Joseph Smith uses the present tense when he bears testament that God lives. Your Heavenly Father still lives to this day and you are literally his son or daughter. There's nothing better than that knowledge.
Thank you so much for stopping by today-- one can seriously not even understand how important it is to me that you even took the time to finish this entry. I really hope you come back, even if it's just to see how this blog continues. Thanks so much for your time.
and welcome to this tiny little part of the Internet.
